In this three-day advanced essential skills workshop, you will practice the concepts you learned in the Introduction to Essential Skills. Participants will work with content to embed essential skills at the appropriate levels of complexity, allowing learners to increase their skills and transfer their knowledge.
The workshop will teach you through practical application how to:
- do a needs assessment with employers and clients
- use an ES assessment for curriculum development
- incorporate essential skills into curriculum to get skill gain
- contextualize essential skills to content
- rate the complexity of tasks and questions
- use the Comparative Framework
