AWES has long been helping industry, employers, practitioners and government improve the skills of workers. One of our strengths as an organization is to present information that explains the importance of essential skills training for workers and the Canadian economy. We build meaningful presentations by learning as much as we can about the audience we are presenting to. We then customize the presentation to answer the questions that the audience may have about essential skills. Our presentations are always interactive and can be created for a variety of time slots.
Examples of our presentations:
- Essential Skills 101 for HR (Certified Human Resources Professionals – Lethbridge)
- Using the Essential Skills Tools to get your learners ready for work (Alberta Teachers of English as a Second Language – ATESL)
- Building workforce essential skills programs that meet employers’ needs (Literacy and Learning Symposium)
