To support youth soon-to-be transitioning to the workforce, AWES was contracted by Piikani Employment Services to design and develop two 12-week workplace essential skills development programs for healthcare aide and construction occupations. The programs were offered through Piikani’s Training and Employment Opportunities program to individuals in the Piikani Nation who were looking for targeted training to secure employment.
