Community Adult Learning Programs (CALP) are a go-to development source for many workers who want or need to upgrade their employment skills. To build capacity for workplace essential skills development in CALP organizations and practitioners, AWES delivered four-day Workplace Essential Skills workshops that covered the applications of the framework, assessment of skills, complexity levels, using authentic materials, differentiating between tasks and skills, and adapting materials for classroom or one-on-one learning.
