Many skilled immigrants in Canada look for opportunities to apply their experience and training to the Canadian workplace. This project was designed to support immigrant workers’ advancement through training. Forty-two immigrant workers were given training on the language and essential skills needed for project management to prepare them for new roles at work and bridge them into conventional project management training classes. A series of course materials were also developed for additional training on language, vocabulary, intercultural skills, foundational project management concepts, and workplace essential skills.
